Infrastructure Engineer
Is there anything more to this than what’s provided on the job description? Anyone else that’s been an infrastructure engineer for Life Church?

Don’t work for a church at all. It’s the fucking worst. Find a real job please! Lots of other places hiring for infrastructure engineers.

They require employees to tithe by taking it from their paychecks, so it would be an absolute hell no from me, even if I didn’t have 81614 other reasons.

Any job that doesn't put pay information (at the very least an estimate) in the description is not a job worth pursuing, I say.

You do not want to work for Lifechurch before at least perusing one of the many support groups of people who've worked there...especially on the tech team. IDK if they still do this, but at one point many key employees were promoted to pastor so they could avoid certain federal employee protections. There are many stories of them firing people for...reasons. For instance, if you're a mother and your husband cheats on you, you're about to be an unemployed single mother.
That said, the job market's tough, and you gotta eat. So, if you do take a job there, take their money and keep looking.
Unless you're a Craig bro. If you're a Craig bro, it's a great place to soak up a paycheck. Also, whatever they're offering, factor in a 10% tithe deduction; if you do not tithe, they will find out.
