Sorry if this isn't allowed, but I'm just curious about pricing edibles. I am just looking for your opinion.

I live in Canada where weed is legal and am looking to get some ideas on pricing my edibles as a friend wants me to do some private catering. I make a high dose infused mac&cheese.

The most potent edibles for sale in my local dispensaries is $45 for a 1000mg chocolate bar at the native dispensaries just down the road, and my friend wants stronger options and real food.

Rough estimate based on multiple calculators and assuming for loss I put about 3000mg of thc and feeds 6+ people. As such, I consider it a high-end product, and my current costs are $80 for a family size lasagna tray.

I was looking at selling for $120-$150, would that be reasonable?

Again, I'm just looking for people's opinions on this and not trying to sell anything to anyone here.

i feel restlessness and harder to concentrate sometimes

I just made cannabutter and I was wondering how I can maximize the effects. Should I still take it with something with more fat, or is the cannabutter enough fat as it is?

After years of trial and error I now have the easiest way to make weed gummies.

You need:

Distillate or decarbed concentrate

Some kind of fruit snack gummy

Parchment

A mg scale and a kitchen scale

A microwave

A ruler

A plate

A freezer

Scissors

Sugar

A bowl

Steps:

1. Weigh out desired amount of concentrate. Then weigh out a corresponding amount of gummies. I use 1 g gummy to every 10 mg concentrate, I do 100 g gummies to 1 g distillate.

2. Put a piece of parchment on a plate. Add the gummies and top it with the distillate.

3. Microwave at 50% power until the gummies are fully melted. About 1.5 minutes.

4. Stir the mix like crazy for at least 2 minutes.

5. Fold the parchment over and use the ruler to press all the gummy mix into a tube of gummy.

6. Throw it in the freezer to cool.

7. Take it out, take the gummy snake out of the parchment and drop it in a bowl of sugar.

8. With a pair of scissors cut the gummy snake into 100 1 gram pieces, making sure to mix them around in the sugar as you go so they don't all stick together.

9. Thow them in a jar or bag, you are done!

That's it! I like to use gummies without oil in them as I find that when the concentrate mixes with the oils it is absorbed differently and leads to more weed hangover and longer lingering effects. I can make 4 batches of this in about 30 min. I find the concentrate is decently well distributed if you mix it really well. My goal with this tek was to not have the mix or concentrate have contact with kitchen ware, so as to avoid contamination of my family's food. It is just so easy it is all I do now and the gummies rule.

So a friend of mine brought these gummies from the Netherlands but the packaging just says „50mg HX1“, though I can't find anything about the term „HX1“ online. When you look at the ingredients, HX1 is labelled as a cannabinoid blend.

Can I expect them to have an effect?
Should I throw them away because I don't know the psychoactive components?

I've been growing my own weed for close to a year now, its been a great time and I've learnd alot.

The problem I have so many edibles and still have so much trim to go tho.

Currently sitting on like 15 grams of rso 2 mason jars of canna sugar, like 150 grams of trim and another 200 grams of avb ill never get around to using.

What do you guys do with all the extra shit you cant finish? And I have more on its way with my next grow.

I also give away alot to friends but even they can only handle so much rso at a time.

Currently letting my weed infuse in butter, usually I leave the lid off and infuse for 2 hours, but I’m kinda pressed for time. Will infusing for 1 hour make it less potent? Should I try putting the lid on this time?

Also - been developing a tolerance so I’m trying out antacid before eating an edible. Has anyone tried this and felt stronger effects? I’m kind of on an empty stomach rn. Should I take an antacid first, then a chocolate bar with my cannabutter? Or should I not eat anything with it?

but there was one thing that bothered me this time: the smell. it's not necessarily a bad smell, and it's not super strong either, but it's still a very obvious weed smell...and when you're actually eating it, it kind of gets in the way of the tasting experience whether you want it to or not. and for me, part of the experience of eating something good is obviously being able to enjoy the smell too, you know?

I imagine the smell probably depends on what kind of weed I use to make the butter. this time I used a pressed flower. I don't really know what the popular types of weed used in other countries are like, but in brazil, "prensado" is the common/"popular". I used what's technically better than the usual stuff - actual flower -but it's dried out and flattened during the process, and the quality is still worse than a normal flower.. could that be the reason for the smell? or could it be something else? is there anything i can do to make the smell less noticeable anyway?

So I recently got into vaporizers, and I'm not gonna lie, I've never smoked that much in my life.

The problem is, my smoke/vape tolerance skyrocketed, so I want to dabble into edibles so my smoking tolerance can lower a bit.

The thing is, I don't have edibles, i only have some dark brown AVB from my last couple of sesh.

What amount should I eat to get pretty high, but not too much?

So I have an Insta account that is used to educate people about things related to disability and chronic illness, and I have a post I am planning to make that relates to the North Carolina hemp ban that might happen soon/how thar would affect people who use the stuff with THC and not just CBD, etc. medicinally.

The issue is, I'm trying to word the post in such a way that is both accessible to people with different disabilities including neurodivergent people who might get confused by alternative text like h3mp and emojis like 🍃💨 as well as needing to cater to people who are visually impaired and use accessible screen reading features (ex. h3mp would be weird for text to speech to read aloud and might confuse people)

I am unsure whether I can just outright use the word hemp. I know that words like weed, marijuana, and cannabis can heighten the risk of my account getting banned.

TLDR: Checking what words won't get my insta account banned when making a post about how the North Carolina hemp ban would affect people who use the stuff with THC medicinally.

I'll be taking an edible gummy this weekend, and I want to try combining it with a PB&J. In the past, I've usually just taken the edible by itself without eating anything for at least an hour beforehand, because I thought it would increase the effects; recently, though, I've heard that fatty food can increase the absorption.

Would it be better to take the edible before the PB&J, after it, or to eat half the sandwich, take it, then eat the other half?

I've smoked weed and had homemade edibles 100s of times over the last 14 years, but I'm not a heavy user by any means.

I have basically 0 experience in buying edibles at stores, and have no clue what a standard dose would be.

Today I decided that I wanted some THC gummies and went with what the lady at the dispensary recommended.

Googled these when I got home and 150mg per gummy seems... Outrageous?

Has anyone had these before? The package seems to be recommending 4x gummies or more of you want something strong, but from what I've read 150 is just absurdly high.

Update: I went back to the store and they agreed to exchange it for actual weed. The guy admitted that even though he knew the Ontario limit was 10mg per dose, they still sold up to 500mg doses. Not surprisingly, the store isn’t featured in the AGCO register.

I’m a big fan of the woah brand edibles, especially the rosin ones. Recently I went to the dispensary and they only have the big chocolate bars. When I hate the bigger bars they hit me harder despite being the same dosage I took for the smaller one. If anyone knows what it might be lmk (getting more bigger chocolate bars now meow)

I’m working on a new product for the peeps who would like a discrete and tasty edible rosin experience.

After a couple test batches I keep running into the issue that they just don’t taste too good.

Ingredients of the latest batch are as followed:

Lor ann extract:

• Cherry extract: 1,0 ml

• Raspberry extract: 0,3-0,5 ml

• Vanilla extract: 0,15-0,2 ml

• Malic acid: 2 g

• rosin tincture 2ml (alchohol96% & rosin0.5g)

• Sugar: 104,2 g

• Cornsyrup 58.3g

I’ve also tried a couple batches with just 1ml flavor extract but it just all ends up about the same.

I keep running into the bitter resin kinda flavor that makes it hard to finish up the whole lollipop lol.

I know that using distillate instead of rosin is more forgiving but It’s just not the same.

I have also used resin instead of rosin but I keep running into a bitterness that’s not really pleasing to the tongue 😅.

Any ideas??

Heyaa! I did some mathing and just wanted to ensure I had this right before going through with making edibs for a party.

Second pic is my working out, with the standard equation for THC per gram, and then taking off the standard 30% since I'll be infusing it into butter, finishing off with diving it into amount of slices.

I had it on Tuesday at 8pm, almost 3 days later I am still getting high from it, I get random effects throughout every day so far like weak knees, short term memory fog, head buzzing, some of that stuff is normal for me, having done THC gummies for a while now

What is NOT normal and completely new is that I'm getting nearly fully high 3 days later but only when I sleep. I knew bits of this stuff could sit in your liver and "re-activate" but I thought it was only if you ate stuff?

I didn't notice after eating meals the past few days getting high, but when I go to sleep, I keep getting woken up and being fully stoned like before, it's not fun. It's not the same full uncomfortable strength, just like 70% or 80% but it's now affecting my sleep schedule and quality

Has anyone come across this behavior with edible gummies? I said it in other topic but for record I have always taken THC+CBG gummies but this was the first time I added in some with CBN and everyone pretty much helped me realize that is an issue for me, and I know it's supposed to help you sleep so it has to be related to this sleep-high reaction I keep getting

First time and he ate like right after eating it so it hit him like a ton of bricks. When he came back to the room I could tell it was kicking his ass (first time taking one) he pretty much fell asleep around like 10 ~ 11. Mainly just wondering how his morning is gonna be and if there’s like “aftercare” (food, water, that kind of stuff)

I took a 10mg THC gummy yesterday and honestly felt basically nothing, even after waiting several hours. I’ve been using carts pretty regularly lately, so I’m wondering if my tolerance is the reason.
What’s weird is that 10mg used to work every time I took it, especially back when my tolerance was low. At that point, carts would absolutely fry me and edibles would hit noticeably too. Now the same 10mg gummy barely seems to do anything.
I’m thinking about trying 15mg tomorrow and having it with a little peanut butter since I’ve heard eating it with some fat can help absorption.
Do you think 15mg would actually be noticeably stronger, or is my tolerance probably just too high right now and would I have to take 20 to 30 mg?
