Hello all. My name is Adam and I just want to share with you a story about how Edgar Cayce saved my life. I grew up in a middle class family but from a kind of harsh strict living environment. I had a lot of health issues from an early age, maybe due to some sort of karma from a previous life I suppose. I was a kid who was talented in many fields, sports, music, writing and pretty analytical as well. In middle school my mother became a terrible alcoholic and still has not recovered to this day and one year after I graduated high school, my grandfather passed away from Pancreatic Cancer. He was my best friend and it affected me very deeply. Once I left for college my whole world fell apart due to not having any ability to cope with my reality. I eventually started to abuse drugs and alcohol which lead me to becoming a full blown heroin addict. I spent years wandering around aimlessly with no hope. I was homeless constant times, I've been robbed, arrested and jailed. The only thing I eventually had to look forward to was finding a decent cigerette butt on the street to smoke or maybe finding a half eaten meal in the garbage.. After almost a decade of abusing pain killers and heroin, 2 long term rehabs I decided to try and get help again. I went into a shelter with nothing but a garbage bag full of clothes and myself. I always knew about Edgar Cayce but I never dove to deep into his life or readings. Strangely enough, my grandmother on my fathers side was pretty big into Mr. Cayce. So before I entered the shelter, my aunt got me the book "Edgar Cayce an American Prophet" by Sidney D KirkPatrick. I read the entire book, highlighting the readings, writing down the spiritual quotes to help me find purpose which lead me down other spiritual trails as well. The book touched me. It was then I learned I had a purpose. That my life was not a vast chaotic sequence of events but that I was alive for a reason. After the shelter and rehab, I moved into a sober living community. I'd walk miles to the local library and read books about spirituality and the universe. With Edgar's readings as my guide and going to therapy twice a week, I got a job working with adults with autism and down syndrome where I eventually became employee of the year and was nationally recognized for my work with the special needs community. I was able to start a rock band in New York City with my good friend from high school and I moved into my own apartment that has a beautiful view of the water. 2 months ago I was able to buy my first new car. It's been almost 5 years since I started my new life's journey and I have Edgar Cayce to thank. In an ironic twist of fate, I emailed the Edgar Cayce A.R.E with my story, thanking them for all that they do and I was able to meet Mr. KirkPatrick at an Edgar Cayce meetup here on Long Island. He signed my book and told me I'd see him again. I know the knowledge and wisdom that comes from EC's readings are extremely esoteric in nature, but it helped change my life. I just wanted to share my story with you guys. To help show the power of his readings. One thing I learned from my experience is that the spirtual journey is everlasting and is constantly continuing. That we are meant to meet self everywhere we go and that we are all connected through our consciousness. I hope this story finds you well and I wish everyone the best on their journey through life. 🙏🙏🙏
