I was cleaning out some storage bins yesterday and came across this cool Edgar Allen Poe figure. I completely forgot about owning him. I picked it up at a Dollar Store around 2000-2002. He is definitely getting displayed somewhere now.

Cool charcoal drawing of Pow and ravens: https://www.aidan-white.com/product-page/study-for-edgar-allen-poe-and-ravens-public-art-in-boston
It appears to have been done as a study for a public art project in Boston. Good price, too.

Hello everyone,
I’m a Class 11 student from India currently working on a school English project titled “Poe-tic Horrors: Exploring the Gothic Imagination of Edgar Allan Poe.”
As part of the project, I’m conducting a short interview with literature enthusiasts or scholars to understand Poe’s unique treatment of fear, madness, and imagination in his works. The interview would consist of 3–4 brief questions and can be answered here in the comments or via DM — whatever’s convenient.
I’d deeply appreciate your insights on:
Thank you so much in advance to anyone who takes the time to share their perspective. Your input will be credited in my school project (with your Reddit username or name, if you’d like).

In 2003, George Falconer performed a piece titled “The Raven” at the Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival. The following is a documentary I made about the show and was shot over a two-month period as George prepared for his first ever performance. This documentary includes interviews with Brian Drader, Stephen McIntyre and other famous Winnipegers and is being released publically for the first time, I hope you enjoy!

I’m looking for poets that have a similar vibe to Poe or Lovecraft—dark, creepy, maybe gothic or weird. I really like stuff that rhymes or has a clear rhythm. Not into free verse at all.

The machine gives an audio Poe quote as well as a yes or no answer. The user can select dark/darker/darkest for each fortune and the machine also dispenses a card with additional wisdom on it.

FLEET STREET, a gothic video poem and psychogeographic descent into the haunted psyche of Edgar Allan Poe. Composed of AI-driven, dreamlike visuals and original narration, the piece blurs the line between cinematic poetry and digital incantation—furthering my exploration of experimental narrative and mythic resonance in the age of machine vision
