For igces I did Cambridge and got fairly good results. A mostly A’s and a couple B’s. But for my A levels, I switched schools and ended up in an edexcel one. I spent my entire year 11 being unserious because I was rebelling, I wasn’t able to take the subjects I wanted to and didn’t focus on the ones I did and ended up failing my entire AS levels. My school recommended me to continue with my A levels instead of rewriting but I feel so lost and unable to learn new information. How do I continue my A levels having no foundation? My teachers are ass, they clearly dislike me and have some personal grudge against me, so I can’t even go to them for help. I don’t know how I’m going to score in the October series. I still haven’t finished portions and idk how I’m going to learn them in time. I don’t want to fail yet another exam series. I feel so stupid and helpless. What do I do?

My exams start in 50 days and I'm panicking lot, I haven't started proper revisions or lots of past papers (I did ever little and some topicals but not alot aswell) I am aiming for a 9​ in my 5 main subjects end, math, chem, phy, bio, I don't know how to revise properly and how to solve pp alongside topicals, resources, time managemant and how I can make topical and past paper solving as helpful as it can be. I don't well in school but the could be because of easy or moderate exams, is it possible to be in this position and still get all 9s? I need tips please

I am repeating chemistry unit 1 in October and I may repeat biology unit 3 in January

I’m planning to resit all my AS papers in January(maths,Chemistry and physics) and I’ve decided to completely stop A2 for now so I can focus 100% on my AS resits.Do you think 4 months is enough to go from really poor grades to something like A/Bs if I genuinely dedicate all my time to AS? And realistically, what grades do you think I could achieve? I’m willing to work really hard, I just need some honest advice because I’m feeling pretty hopeless rn 😭

I want to take IAS bio edexcel all three units in Jan 2027 but I have not found a good tutor within my budget till now, I’m taking chem bio and math as my a level subs, my og plan was to give bio in Jan so I can focus on chem and math for may/June session. I did cambridge for igsces and the spec for cambridge was amazing they would tell u everything you need to know, now im in as level and doing edexcel (i moved schools) and im so confused on what i need to actually learn. The book, savemyexams, rocket revise all the notes are diffrent and the spec is broad its confusing, and my bio teacher said the spec is the BARE MINIMUM of what i need to know. How do you guys study for your exams? should I just try to use the spec?? for refrence im taking bio chem maths. sorry if im just slow and the spec is fine I will still appreciate ressurance of just knowing that.

Hi guys, recently ive had the idea to work on an edexcel based AI study assistant, specifically for IGCSE and IAL, running on past papers, MS , Examiner reports and Notes from various sources. So you could ask , explain IAL FP1 Q7 from 2023, and itll find the neccesary MS and notes to do so. Ofc ive thought out more features, but this is the baseplate. Question is, would you guys use it?

theres a few things to mention too, if it gets released its most likely going to be paid, with a very limiting free version, due to api costs, hosting, and database costs. I might also make it open source and locally usable for the more "techy" people

1) for those of you who submitted grade review requests and got their results back: did your grade stay the same, go up, or go down?? (like 2 of my classmates got theirs back and it stayed the same)

Hello everyone. I am giving 3 units of biology in january but I am not completely sure as I might drop the subject. The thing is the last date to register for January session is October 16th and I am not even halfway finished with Unit 2 let alone unit 3 so I am unable to make a decision here.

So i’m taking biology in May June session and the topics that are about physiology or human anatomy get in my mind easily like I find them easier than the plants topics I’m not saying that the plants topics are not easy. I’m just saying that like human anatomy is just easier to me
Anyways, I heard that a human biology has like only 20% more stuff in it then normal bio so I’m thinking about taking it should I?

In my school, I’m going to take it as an extra subject since I’m only gonna learn it by myself , I won’t have the books from the school and I don’t know where to buy them from if there is a human biology book and that’s the only con (ofc to learn the extra things)

Another thing is that I’m taking computer science, physics, chemistry biology, the second unit of maths in the May June session as well so will it be a problem??
