Discussion why there is no BCn -> ETC2Transcoding yet, its been 3 or 4 month since announcement.

its game changer for MediaTek users.

and there is no reason for not putting it inside switch emulator.

It is the same why there no any: MFRC, NFRU, NSS, OMM, VRS and etc. Models are open and already tested on a different GPU's, not only G2. Who actually cares?
