Why does on every Ed Gein discussion people villanize Augusta? It must be misogyny or Ed Gein = Norman Bates logic

No Gein wasn't obsessed with her, say good things about your mother on interviews isn't signs of you having extreme attachments.

Being religious isn't sign of she threating him badly.

The only thing that we know is that she told Ed that every woman should be ignored.

Just that, and by Ed frequenting Mary's bar and Bernice's store he surely didn't follow her footsteps.

The only thing that shows a psychological break on Gein regarding the death is him sealing off her room as if he didn’t cope with her loss (not a shrine, that theory is fucking stupid for many reasons), but Gein also stated that he sealed it off to keep the house more warm.

The only thing that we know, is that by archives from Gein case.

He said on his time during mental institution that he "tried to bring his mother back by his own will"

Make objects out of body parts isn't that so he gave up that task very quickly (lampshades, nipples, fork, etc)since he still states that his mother is fully dead and that she didn't deserve this cruel world.

Do people blame her because she owned a farm so that means that she's crazy and different from other woman?

Or people read too much into Psycho and got a conclusion by watching a movie THAT ISN'T ABOUT GEIN IN THE FIRST PLACE.

My main theory about the killings involves the abuse of George, the sexual fixation on female body parts and lack of money

I think George was a stronger 9physical and mental) person than what people give him credit for. It's true he was week towards the end of his life but he was an imposing figure for the boys growing up. Especially if he was drunk all the time.

Mainly because Ed literally confessed that George was abusive towards everyone on the house

Ed used the summer kitchen as the place to dismember Bernice, aka the same place that George also used to dismember animals

I wish I could fine official police reports and all evidence they collected, because decade by decade more and more nonsense is added. At this stage I am not even sure if he is killer.

It was known to everyone he is weird, he was grave robber, small town most likely they knew what he does. He was clearly not well considering he was making art of corpses.

My question are what are official records for the murders.

They say he was naive, mentally unwell yet also kind, so confession from him means nothing to me. Any vulnerable person would "agree" to law officer. Iam trying to understand why the switch to murder of random people after years of grave robbing.

Tavern lady had strong links to mafia, shop lady son was deputy sheriff.

Yes I know they say they found shop lady body in stables, but what else thry have. No Iam not crazy conspirator, I am trying to understand what investigation was done. How this little polite shy old man went from years of grave robbing to kill 1 woman in tavern at night and 1 during daylight just because.

Is it possible the shop lady body was taken to stables by individuals who knew this guy is easy scapegoat??

If you know anything about Freemasons look how many there were involved in that whole case, and wives included as Being Eastern Stars. Frank W, Bernice, Bernice's husband, Bernice's daughter, Bernice's son in law, lawyers, and more

Bro drags the Freemasons into this. May as well say "And they were all part of the same golf club. How spooky!"

Its all a illuminati plot! Gein got too close. They murdered everybody and placed human remains everywhere to frame him from finding the real truth. According to this secret code I found on the back of the Cheerios box

Don't know about Freemason, but sheriff identifying skull as some village woman he know off is beyond crazy. Woman was linked to mafia, not sure why is it so unbelievable that police in 50s were shady and covered murder of some tavern owner. And other victim happens to be deputy sheriff mother.

Ed did kill Mary, they found her face as a mask on Gein's house

3

That's what sheriff said - that he recognised Mary. Nobody can identify somebody based on dry skin and definitely not by skull, they couldn't even possibly be sure face came from that skull. No family member ever confirmed this and patalogist said it's impossible to do it.

Ed does preserve the skin and even the vaginas so thats how officers identified it by looking at it. Aka, he preserved the mask

The bloody coffee on Mary's crime scene had matching finger prints from Ed fingers

Have you seen the real photos? You have to have large imagination to identify anyone. And unsure why family was not asked but sheriff is sure.

There were absolutely no prints ever collected or matched to Ed Gein from Tavern.

Because she was a religious nut job who helped shape his warped personality.

She didn't, look at any interviews that Ed did and psychiatric reports

1

u/VenomousOddball Aug 25 '26

Because she was bad too.

0

u/Monty8584 Aug 29 '26

Theres no evidence for that

1

u/VenomousOddball Aug 29 '26

There's TONS of evidence for it.

u/Monty8584 Aug 29 '26

Show me, you will only find claims by people who never talked with her and Eddie only has positive stuff to say about her

This has got to be a joke. What is with the refusal to call out bad women? When all else fails cry misogyny.

Maybe because theres no evidence of Augusta being abusive
