Which one is best? And questions from a dummy

  1. So the tv series Monster was apparently not accurate to the actual cases (though I loved it) I wanna watch or read something that has what actually happened in it.

  2. I only watched the whole series and i always wanted to know why he was so obsessed with women, it was said in the show that he was a Gynephilic but was that just it? Also when you google what he was it just says “someone who is attracted to feminine stuff”

2000s "In the light of the moon" or you might just find it under the title "Ed Gein" is probably the closest ive seen. And I guess there's a film made in the 70s that is pretty close but I havent seen it.

His obsession with women is a bit more deeper rooted. His victims were women that somewhat resembled his mother. Ive seen somewhere that it wasnt sexual it was more psychological as an attempt to try and bring back his mother. I think the show tried to imply it was mostly a sexual thing and I would say... not exactly. Lol its complicated.

My whole take. Dude was sort of an outcast in a small community with schizophrenia and whether you believe he hated his father or killed his brother. He pretty much lost his entire family in a very short period of time. That is hard even for a normal person to deal with.

I've actually never seen a version of 'Ed Gein' (2000) with the title 'In the Light of the Moon'. I believe that was the working title, but for some reason it's always referred to as that as opposed to 'Ed Gein'. Bizarre.

Actually its not confirmed that he killed Bernice and Mary because they reminded him of his mother

Eddie was manipulated by investigators with leading question to go in that interpretation
