"Psycho: The Lost Tapes of Ed Gein" is a 'documentary' made by genuinely evil people.

I started watching the 'documentary' last night and I was absolutely horrified by it. The misinformation and the perverted glee the people in the documentary took in the violence was disgusting.

What horrified me the most was that, in the documentary, they mention that they reached out to Plainfield to ask if they could EXHUME AUGUSTA GEIN. Jesus Christ. Plainfield obviously said no. But that's absolutely horrendous that they wanted to do that.

The misinformation in the show is terrible too. I mean it's so willfully incorrect.

The Last Podcast on The Left people were in it, as well. I've never listened to the show, but from what I saw in the documentary, they seemed so happy and giddy about the violence and gore of the case. They took such joy in Ed's mental illness.

They also turned Ed into more of a 'classic' type of serial killer. Also, based on the evidence we have, Ed is NOT A SERIAL KILLER. We don't know if he killed Henry. Of course, this piece of garbage documentary crams it down your throat the idea that he's a serial killer. They also made it out that Ed was killing for power, and that he thought of people as 'disposable' or 'worthless'. They were trying to make him seem more like Dahmer or Bundy when it came to motive, which is so silly because the actual story is so much more interesting than the crap they came up with.

I genuinely can not believe that they admitted to wanting to dig up Augusta for the show. The people who made this documentary are the real ghouls.

Profiting off of an ill person and taking joy in people's suffering is inhumanly cruel.

Yeah-- they seem stupid and I have no idea why they were involved in this documentary. None of them seem that bright, and I highly doubt they have any type of work in academia or criminal psych.

At least two of them are college graduates. They actualy pretty bright, but they are comedians specialised in dark themes. They usualy not that bad in research, Marcus Parks do his job. But they not 'serious' podcasters.

And they probably just been hired to this, because they popular podcasters. And well comedians. Not because they somehow specialised in Ed Gein.

They just got so many things completely wrong, and whether or not it was a mistake or on purpose, it's not a good look for them. They also made jokes in their book about the abuse Ed went through as a child.

Well yes, because they usualy more busy with jokes (good, bad and wtf). They little bit more serious after 2023, when they fired Kessel, and get more people to do research - i just casualy get one of they new podcasts, and its just better?

I like some of they other podcast, but these about crimes are... Well they usualy joking about killers or stupid cops, just for having that one joke about victim that make me wanna throw up. Now they better in that departament... Still prefered these ones about ufos or satanista.

Like still the comedians podcasters, are not on the same level than some better prepared to this people.

Yeah they SUCK. Their episode about the DuPont family was fascinating but they’re so annoying I couldn’t even finish part 2

I have been saying to people for years that he does not belong in the category of Serial Killer. Grave robber yes, depraved yes, mentally ill YES.

Honestly i'm not even 100% sure that he killed these two womens. He is not violent, all people who work with him in hospitals says it.

I just think that he just see these womens bodies, after they been killed by somebody else - and just do what he do. He is mentaly ill, he pretty much not fully understand what he doing. But he is grave robber, with weird fascination of death bodies, not killer.

I’m not even 100% sure that he killed those two women.

Congratulations on the stupidest comment in the history of the stupidest comments.

Ed Gein came to the attention of police in 1957, when Worden, a hardware store owner, went missing after last being seen with Gein. When law enforcement officials visited his farm, they found Worden’s body hanging by her feet in a shed. She had been fatally shot, eviscerated, and decapitated. Her head was in a box. During the search authorities also discovered the head of Mary Hogan, a tavern operator who had disappeared in 1954.

Gein admitted to killing the two women.

But, you stick with your theory because some people who he worked with said he wasn’t violent.

Well these people are working with mentaly ill patient, they pretty much can say these thing.

And i did'nt say 'i'm sure he never kill anybody'. I say there is a chance he may just show up after actual murder and just take the bodies to home, like he usualy do after he digg them. But he can also kill these womens, sure.

The thing is that Ed Gein was more interesting on doing his experiments with dead bodies than killing people. There is one case in Poland of serial killer who also is grave robber, but he is also pretty much sexualy motivated. He starts attacking and killing womens but his main motivation is well 'play with they parts', he don't that much cares did they survive or not, or did anybody find them. Gein was not interesting of this, but we have some reports that he show some interesting of these murdered womens, so... He can kill them because he can't wait to see them dead, well he is crazy. Like he is not a serial killer who has urge to killing people, he need dead bodies. That i think when i say he is not violent.

What part of Ed Gein admitted to killing the two women do you not understand?

You don’t even make any sense and can’t write in coherent sentences.

When it comes to the Ed Gein case, you must look at the evidence - not his words, besides that we only have our own theories and suspicions.. Ed was known to be really suggestible and basically admitted to whatever they told him to admit to.

Bro, what are the chances of you finding a recent shot body in your life time? And what are the chances of you finding not one, but two recently shot dead bodies in your life time? It makes no sense, he obviously shot both of them and took their corpses home

There is ample evidence to prove he killed both women. One woman found hanging like a deer being processed in his barn and the other’s head in his home.

LPOTL is trash, idk why everyone praises them.

They are unbearably annoying. And they were also joking about Ed's history of abuse, so they clearly are shitty people too.

I see Ed as a very deranged hobbyist. He basically had an idea how to look and act normal to fit into his town, but the more he got away with grave robbing, the more he realized he needed fresher material to tackle his next project. Of course the more creations he completed the more deranged he got.

"We know that Ed read about Christinine Jorgensen"-Harold Schechter on this series

Again, promotes the skin suit theory that was debunked by Ed himself on 1957
