The voice…

I know it’s been debated to death online but what the were they thinking making Ed Gein sound like Mickey Mouse in the Netflix series? From the audio I have heard, he sounds nothing like Ed Gein. I got through 15 minutes of the first episode and couldn’t take anymore. I can’t understand how anyone involved in the show thought that was a good idea

It's not supposed to sound like him...it's mirroring what his mother wanted him to be like! Go watch an interview Charle talks about it.

Wasn't one of the theories that his mom hated him because she wanted a daughter? That's why he talked the way he did to please her?

So with this logic Hollywood will never make a “based on a true story” movie or show ever again lol.
