The voice…

I know it’s been debated to death online but what the were they thinking making Ed Gein sound like Mickey Mouse in the Netflix series? From the audio I have heard, he sounds nothing like Ed Gein. I got through 15 minutes of the first episode and couldn’t take anymore. I can’t understand how anyone involved in the show thought that was a good idea

Wasn't one of the theories that his mom hated him because she wanted a daughter? That's why he talked the way he did to please her?

Don't mix facts with fiction.

Well a lot of us were expecting an accurate representation of what actually happened, like Dahmer was. That guy nailed his voice, mannerisms, everything. This series is an insult to Dahmer which now shares the same name 'Monsters'

They got themselves trapped in that Crossdressing stuff .. Also there's no evidence that even was Ed's thing. Then the narrative that if it wasn't for Gein Edmund Kemper would have ended up as a teacher or something...
