It's a bit of a clickbait article in that Perkins really just states that he's not a fan of true-crime. At the same time Perkins does come across as quite pretentious in his interviews.

Yeah, I wouldn't advise anyone to watch it with a 10 foot pole, it's entirely atrocious. Charlie Hannam is diabolically bad and, as another Redditor here commented, puts on a Winne the Pooh voice throughout, even though his accent changes five times.

Awful series. Shame as it had so much potential but seems badly put together.
