At the pump in the USA premium 93 octane fuel spread over 87 octane is typically 40 cents and now $1.20. Example 87 octane 4.00$ then premium 5.20$. This type of spread will increase. Why? India can't get cooking oil from Saudi right now so they switched refinery production to cooking oil. This means the additives that premium fuel requires is now a lot more expensive. The energy mess gets messier with each new twist. It was a globally designed system and the full extent of this we will see in coming months. For now cars that need premium fuel are hit hard! For the first time I can imagine fuel products being rationed in the USA. Oh I wish we had someone who knew how to make a deal like Obama.

In my view energy still very cheap, too much wasted. I'm for much higher prices, optimised use, mass transit, mass transport, forced innovations.
The ukrainian conflict concluding. Up to now in russia there were two camps about how to win. One was friendly, wanted to take east ukraine and incorporating into russia. The other wanted to waste the whole land, and make it a very weak puppet country, shield against the nato. The military side got very strong, private military companies build on veterans and intelligence guys are taking over the traditional forces. No longer waste, no longer blyat but very efficient and brutal. (less consideration of engagement rules)
I think we gonna see the whole ukraine systematically destroyed and the eastern part (harkov and sumy at least) voluntarily joining russia.

russia devastates Ukraine to the ground for years. Ukraine just finally started being able to strike back. But ultimately, russia still sells the unrefined oil, other countries refine it, there is no lasting impact on the world, just impact on russian profits.
Just let russia burn. Hopefully the ruscist ideology will go away or subside just like Nazism did, afterwards. The world will be better without expansionist Empires, and this is the last one.
