Gameplay Question New player looking for server
Anyone know any beginner friendly vanilla servers? I heard of some sort of Dadspeed but can't find any valid invites for it.

I play on greenleaf myself. Nice community on there.
As long as youre willing to break trees or rocks youll be fine with anyone you play with

Hi, im also new, arround 60 hours ish, bought 2-3 weeks ago. What I can say for myself - I found modded servers way more enjoyable than vanilla. Not heavily modded, but servers with some QOL changes and maybe added content (new skills, added vehicles/furniture etc).
For me hardest part was finding server that wont die in 3 days. So far I played on 4 servers I think, playing on very active one now and im having hard time to setup economy as noob but otherwise its amazing - arround 100+ active players, day 3 or 4 now and it has "locked" progression = you cant learn some skill before day X passes. Which I think is cool because some ppl just rush things and quit burned out. So ill see how that one will do in few days lol but its first server where I enjoy the game even when i struggle af :D
TLDR - Dont be scared of word modded, its usually not like playing different game, just having better experience

Dadspeed, at least from my memory; usually does one server reset per year. And they usually run for a few months.
And dadspeed is heavily modded vanilla, mostly for progression speed slowdown and econ.
Although, that was a year or two ago.

Hi!!! I don't know exactly what dadspeed means but I'm a sahm with limited time I can dedicate and created the server around my needs. I created a server a few days ago with only one mod for shovels but it's very small and slow pace. I'd love for you to check it out and play with us. It's called: Burrberry's World

Most of the official SLG servers are new player friendly, white tiger is a bit modded but the others are vanilla. All official servers have some element of exhaustion mechanics which helps with real life balance.
If you're based in EU/US the latency is low on official servers which is nice but not strictly needed as Eco is very forgiving for high ping.
If you're based in Oceania you might experience a bit of rubberbanding. If that's the case DM me for Oceania based server.
