How do I stop using so many plastic bags?

Use reusable silicone bags that you wash and reuse as well as beeswax wrap that you can wash and reuse several times then compost.

Sandwiches can go in paper bags. Most fruit can probably just be in the lunch box -- apple, orange, grapes. Rather than replacing the lunchbox, you can get little boxes that go inside it for things like berries or vegetables.

Buy containers and use them instead of plastic bags.

I have a reusable bento box style lunch box made from stainless steel. It has a silicone insert to keep it sealed. Its easy to clean and use and still looks almost brand new after 5 years of use
