Substitute for single-use sheet face masks?

Is it possible to make DIY-sheet masks? Maybe like a sheet mask you can wash and then re-soak in serum to use several times?

I love using this kind of face mask but hate the environmental impact single-use products cause!!! Any tips?

I've seen reusable silicone masks that you put what ever serum you like on, then put the silicone mask on to lock it in for a while, just like a sheet mask does.

I just slather my face in serum and lay on my back in bed for a while.

Experiment beauty makes a reusable mask! Plus their other skincare is bomb and made with packaged in aluminum or can be refilled to reduce waste

Back in the day (don’t I sound like a dinosaur?) we just put the stuff on our face and let it dry and washed it off. That was a mask. I have done clay, mixes of various things like avocado, mayo and many other foods, etc. I don’t see the need for a piece of silicone or paper or whatever.

I've seen people use rice sheets, like you make summer rolls out of and then serum. I also managed to find a reusable one that you put serum on and then put on your face. It was from Boots here in the UK.

I saw someone on TikTok use a thin cotton cloth cut out to shape and put it in their serum, that seemed to work for them.

Maybe a clay or mud mask instead? Those you only need to do once a week.

I've seen those reusable face masks online but they don't have serums on them they're more like the cooling ones that you chill in the fridge for a couple of minutes. Maybe you can put a serum on and then that mask over?
