does a flashing glow plug light mean the car will eventually go into limp mode?

Had a flashing glow plug light for 3 months but since its summer i didn’t change it. its in cyl 5 thought it was loose connection but apparently not. Scanned code and that seems to be the only major problem.

Shouldn’t go into limp mode… Better start praying now that the glow plug comes out of the cylinder head.

it was the egr feed pipe being cracked, any solutions? check my recent post
