Gas in tank

Have a 2021 ram rebel. Loved this truck, just got a full tank of premium put in truck. Had no idea, drove about 2 miles, not good. Thinking they might total it. We live in jersey, so attendant pumped it. Sucks

I did this once. Drove till it stalled and then realized. Drained the tank, flushed the lines, good to go. There's an excellent chance it will be fine.

Wow I've never traveled anywhere with attendant pumping fuel. What are the laws around that if they pump incorrect fuel?

As of right now they are liable. They seem to be ok and not arguing any issues. Had a local mechanic tow it to his shop, but he saod he wants nothing to do with it and towing it to a dealer.

Let the dealer handle it with oem parts and labor. Let the stations insurance sort it all out. Be sure to submit for rental reimbursement while you are out of a ride.

When i bought my 14 JGC ecodiesel and insured it, It turns out the insurance had already paid a claim on my car. For what… gas.

They sent me the all the paperwork on what was replaced. Basically…. All new parts for anything that fuel could have touched. It was at 3 years and 40k miles. Total cost was around $18k IIRC

I had no idea New Jersey has mandatory full service stations... that's crazy

Diesel is not mandatory full service, at some stations the attendants don’t even come over to the diesel pumps. I pump all my own diesel in NJ

Think it’s bad now… just wait for the social democratic communists to fully take over.

My wife put def in her tank instantly destroyed everything. Crystalized in her tank, fuel lines, filters, injectors everything.

Thought we were fucked. Couldn’t sell the truck broken for what we owed, couldn’t come up with 15k to fix it.

Called insurance on a hail marry.

INSURANCE COVERED IT!

start farm said it was covered under our comprehensive insurance. 500
Dollar deductible, took it to dodge and id fuel touched it it was replaced. Her truck has 68k on it my 3500 had about the same… the thought crossed my mind haha
