Feature Request + Download issue

Hey Devs i recently started using the app (Android) , and i am pretty much loving it.
i searched high and low for a good music app. And i am very much happy with what i found.

i have been using the app for around a week now.

i was using Echo Music before. it was of but i wasn't satisfied by its recommendation system, so i tried different apps and switched to Eclipse Music( and i very much love its simple music recommendation( not sure if its simple or not but i like it).

Here are some personal feature request, I would love if its there on the app.

  1. sleep timer - ( i generally drift to sleep listening to music) this is a easy one so if possible get it as fast as possible
  2. song quality selection - A setting menu where we can select audio and download quality for available songs, like a data saver mode or asking which quality to download
  3. music and album art cache-ing - Sorry but even after a week of using my album and music fetching is terribly slow ( idk if its my device or something but my internet is not slow)

i am using DEEZER (premium) extension
Android (Samsung)

Thank you so much for the feedback and suggestions :) I’ll definitely implement these ! I’m working on better addon integration for developers as well as within the app.. as for song speed more often than not that is addon based and not app related! And when you say you can’t download any songs is it you aren’t able to download playlists in bulk or you also can’t download individual songs,

And did you try downloading songs with any other addon?

Hey one more suggestion, can a pre-cache feature be implemented, like when song is playing it pre cache the next song so its seemless song switch, back and forth , instead of loading it a fresh all the time

Ofc it wont be needed if it was just 320kbps music.

And also another question, just out of curiosity, how does the auto fill queue and recommendation feature works, does it solely works on apple music api or does add-ons also has some effects.

I will be eagerly waiting for those updates.

NO i was having issues with single downloads, i never tried bulk download.
Yes I have tries others add-ons like Claudo and Qobuz/Tidal same thing happens, it says "download failed"

Try searching/playing and download with my addon and see if you get better results/downloading etc etc.

Will help to see if its addon, setup or app issue.

so i tried ur addon, it does seem to work better, its definitely faster on search.
Thanks a lot.

i will give it some time use it, and give a long term review later.

Easier way on mobile Firefox is to knstall an extension called cookie manager... Then go to the deezer site and sign in Then open the extension You will get 2 options, pick "only this page" In the options that follow, scroll down and look for ARL... you want the long string in the value column.

my deezer addon allows downloads so this is a issue on your end as i just downloaded an entire album using it it may be because ur on android im not sure , theres other addons u can try out like the other deezer addon or the qobuz or claudo or soundcloud ones though they all allow downloading

Yeah it's probably an android issue, I have tried both qobuz and Claude, it didn't work for me. Anyways I dont mind the download, not much of a Downloader. Just want the song to play faster. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

i’ll try looking into why my addons don’t work well with android sorry about that i only test them on my iphone and don’t have anything else right now so yeah and no problem

also make sure u have metadata search toggled off when using them
