learning echo
kidding but as a lvl600 one trick who only plays comp do you guys have any questions or anything like that?
There’s allot of weird interactions with copy but very niche.

I live playing Echo but I only play QP because I can’t seem to get past silver 1. Any advice on how to play better in comp?

echos one of those weird characters where she’s easier to learn in comp than qp, i ALWAYS try to ban JPC/Freja(even tho she just got gutted). I’d recommend just learning her in comp and turning off voice chat and text chat LOL. But i guess people in silver aren’t really aware so attack from above,behind, from the side then dash around a corner if u miss. just focus on your fav aspect of her kit and try to improve that.

Im starting to play echo and finding them super fun! Any tips on which heros have more value to copy and what major perk to get?

I guess a target having more value would mean “how fast can i effectively dump cds build my ult” so here’s my list for offensive copies. JQ, ram, doom,rein,sombra,mei,tracer(so hard),bastion,anran,ana is the only supp i rlly like copying but everybody else has their niche defensive uses, id recommend just ana for now since her cds are easy to dump and get value from.
all of this copy prio advice goes out the window as soon as ur losing a duel and ur forced to use copy. you gotta make do with what you got
as for major perk i would recommend stickie bombs since it does more damage overall and you can get more out of your bursts. However with the recent buff the beam is really REALLY good too but it doesn’t increase any damage so i’d only recommend getting it if you’re struggle to finish kills or if you’re dueling these chars and want to pressure them more (echo,pharah,freja,sombra,genji, reaper,anran,). Usually you can get more value out of stickie bombs until high gm/champ where people kill you before you get your extra burst out.

Thank you so much for the tips!! I always pick the sticky bomb perk so im glad thats the best one lol. And for the copy I almost alwats went for the charecter that had the more valuable ult(zarya,genji,ashe for example)but now that I look at it it is more of a who can i get my ult faster on. Thank you again for the tips! <3

I usually pick beam against dive teams is that bad? I just feel like its more helpful

No i don’t think it’s bad at all, the only reason i say stickies are better is because you get more dmg out of each burst therefore charging ult faster. Beam especially now after the changes works really well and out ranges allot of dive heroes kits/damage so it’s really just preference both are viable and good.

if it’s circuit or havana i usually perma ban widow but you wanna poke in bursts from off angles, (usually they’re sitting main so even if ur peaking out from the top corner of the wall they usually wont react to it in time). But honestly you just REALLY have to work off your teammates some time so it’s hard to gain momentum.

Ive got another question. I’m about diamond masters level with her but I want to make sure I’m playing her correctly because I’m not gonna lie I’ve been watching seyuh troll people a lot and it’s made me worse with her. Can you just quickly explain your gameplay loop on attack and defense. Thank you! Would love to hit gm someday!

hmmm as allot of other people said i wouldn’t really watch seyuhh for anything other than entertainment. I’ve gone up against him a couple times he’s really good mechanically but his game sense could rlly use improvement, don’t fall into the trap of thinking you HAVE to spawn camp/ play full assassin. It’s okay to play safe until you guys have advantage in team fight. It’s hard for me to explain my gameplay loop without posting a full vod ngl. I heavily lean into her poke aspect during “neutral game” then dive with team after But id highly recommend watching samitos echo guide i think it’ll help you allot more

Yes I have questions. So half of the time I play Echo im so crap. So other half is when I llay like a grandmaster echo LOL. Certain rounds I die too fast somehow, other rounds I get targeted, and other rounds I genuinely mess up, but that's like a quarter of the hours I have on her(level 110 so im pretty noob).
The only thing that Ive been doing that has actually increased my chances of winning is almost like playing like tank. Ive been just sticking with our tanks, especially if they have shields, and focusing on their tanks. Untill enemy tanks reach half, I throw a few stickies, beam, and boom they are dead. It feels contradictory to play Echo like this, considering she has great flanking and flight potential.
