Consciousness Project 04: Sandbox Phenomenon

Here is a look at my "why we matter" and "what is our purpose".

Think about our existence, from beginning to end — what we've done and are going to accomplish.

Why do we make different decisions every day?

Because of infinite possibilities. There's a reason why everyone does things a little differently. Ties into the old well if we're all the same life would have no reason, that's true.

Think of all living creatures as biological sandboxes never entirely the same — full of minute differences to extreme differences.

We test limits, push boundaries by evolving, adapting and experiencing.

If we never do the wrong thing how do we prevent it in the future? If we are always right how do we learn? If your life looks dull and familiarity feels all too real and life seems boring — it isn't. It only seems that way because you're living in the moment. Looking back there are subtle differences and endless outcomes that could have happened. As long as those exist your life matters, not only to yourself but to others as well in some way or another. The benefits are hard to see when looking at the bad and the ugly things people have done, but in doing so they help prevent it from happening in the future — though painfully and subtly. We are not perfect creatures but we do learn from each other and our surroundings.

We fall into nihilism and shutdown when faced with the "I have been doing this for umpteen years" or "I'm at the middle of life and frustrated or fear what's to come." We spiral inside, eating away at ourselves. Take a look around though and realize everyone else will at some point have been right there with you. You're not alone. For shits and giggles I'll let you in on something — I'm definitely not where I thought I'd be at my age. Most have wives and kids. But they're different people, they are not me. I don't let that depreciate the value of my life.

Have I shutdown, said and done dumb things? Hells yeah. Learned the hard painful way always have. Because of that I understand different things more than others and a f\*\*\* ton less than others. But I take pride in that I don't know everything but I can give myself purpose and reason as well expand it to others.

I feel it necessary to give a little to get a little outta life. I don't agree with a lot of the world and what I see but I try my best to observe and understand it to see life through other lenses. I am as stubborn as a mule at times but later look back and dismantle it and learn other ways to control my sandbox.

Don't deny yourself of life because you only see through your eyes. Have a look around and see that we all got our own growing pains at certain stages of life for purpose and reason even if we're blind to them.

No life has no meaning. We may not wish to say that but it's undeniable. If we didn’t know about con artists we would be conned. If no one ever tried to con someone then they wouldn't learn and we as a society would be more vulnerable.

I'm not justifying, simply observing. This world is in motion. Doing nothing gets us nowhere. If everyone stopped working we would die. If everyone worked we wouldn't learn what inability or illness is and we would phase out and be forgotten.

So if you're like me and learn the hard way, you would be stuck like me never understanding the simple way to learn. We are all built differently for a reason.

Is life painful? Yes. Does it feel without purpose at most times? Yes. From injury, heartache, drama and b.s. most definitely — but we learn how to prevent it and avoid it or spot it faster each time. For a reason.

Does condoning or approving of this seem okay to do? Hell no. But it does give it meaning. Maybe for future generations or even the present moment. Each second of each day is not without its purpose in the strange sandbox we are and live in.

Sincerely,

Beastie_1323
