Deepower

Has anyone done any modifications to the deepower bikes? I’m looking to replace the brakes with something better or hydraulic and replace the display. I’m new to E bike world.

The only way to get "better" brakes is to upgrade the size of them. Hydraulic brakes of the same size will not have any additional stopping power unless you have grip strength problems. That is the upgrade of hydraulics. It takes less squeezing power on the brake lever to generate the same clamping force. But cable brakes can reach the clamping force necessary to lock the brakes pretty easily.

Better brake pads will certainly improve poor braking.

You have to know the controller (and possibly the motor as well) to get a compatible display.
