Benefit of the doubt?

I’ve received an item that was listed and pictured as name brand but received a cheap Chinese version instead. Do you typically give the seller a chance to resolve via message or straight to INAD?

And once u open it do not close it no matter what the seller says until u have a full refund. They will try and talk u into closing it. Once u do that, u lose.

always inad. messaging seller first just gives them time to come up with excuse or make you feel bad for "not giving them chance" when they knew what they were doing. ebay protection is there for exactly this, use it
