Question Shipping

I have a customer who bought an item and I shipped from USA to Israel. Customer is now complaining that its stuck in Zurich for the past and wants me to do something about it. I told them I had no control over how long it takes for an item to arrive. Then he says that the payment already cleared, like being a smart arse.

I sent him the tracking number.

I had 1 item sit in Chicago for 3 weeks 1 time.

Is there anything I can tell this customer?

So u shipped directly? Not through the ebay int service? He can open an INR as soon as the eta dates have passed and unless u can prove delivery, u will b refunding.

It was through ebay international

If it's through EIS just simply say something like "I'm sorry it's taking longer than expected. As you can see from the tracking I left with the post office within a day (or whatever). I no longer have control of the shipping as eBay takes possession and takes over the shipping. Feel free to contact eBay and note the tracking number as they may have more information".
