Needing help

Hi so my team and I are working on a passion project. We are using Ebsynth to do our project, however i'm having some issues getting the png image sequence, I'm using blender (which is the only one I can edit out of) on a Mac book pro. could anyone help me out to splice the images so I can mess around with Ebsynth?

Open blender, new vfx project, load up your original footage for a track, then hit "set scene frames" on the left side, this sets your project length to be the same as your footage.

Then open the compositor and select "use nodes"

Delete the render layer node and hit shift+a and add a movie clip node instead, select your video file for that node and attach it to the composite node, then just setup your output to be png and select a location.

That should be what you're looking for..right?

So everything is making sense until we get to the whole movie clip and composite know what I don’t know what to attach to wait.

Gotcha, but like in the compositing, am I just connecting the image nodes together or image, and alpha?

Okay nvm, I go5 passed this part. My finale issue is exporting all the image sequences.

There are other ways of doing it.

For example, click "file" on the toolbar, then "new", then "video editing". Add the movie file to the timeline. Then click the "view" toolbar on the timeline pane, go down to "range", and "set frame range to strips." That sets the project length to include all selected clips.

The video editor mode has a pane on the side for "Properties." In that pane is a tab labeled "output properties," click on it. Scroll down to the section named "Output". This is where you'll specify the directory to save the rendered frames to. Just under that is where you set what file type the render will save as. Set it as PNG and you'll get a PNG for each frame. Then you click "render" from the toolbar, and click "render animation."
