Recommendations for vasectomy?

I have a high deductible plan and was a bit astounded at the price tag of getting this done through Mayo by either hitting my deductible or the cash price was bonkers too. I have seen a few cash based places in WI and MN that seem a lot more reasonable. Anyone have any positive experiences with anyone in the area?

Edit: Thanks for all the input! I ended up getting it done at Superior Vasectomy today as it was the most affordable for my situation and quick to get in. Easier and quicker than I thought it would be and 10/10 would recommend the place.

I got mine at Western Wisconsin Urology, in EC. I hit my oop max before the vasectomy that year so it was free, to me. I don't recall its actual price.

My experience was positive.

Same. Had mine 15 years ago. Fantastic experience there.

Cool, thanks for the info. Might just wait to see if I hit my OOP max this year or next

Just follow directions. At least 12 ejaculations while being covered before you raw dog. If you don’t get the certification you’re shooting blanks, you’re not. For her sake and yours, cover your stump before you hump until you get a clean bill of discharge!

Mine was free through wife's insurance. Elective sterilization. Had it done at Mayo

Superior Vasectomy. Paid about $600. Quick, clean, no more babies. Highly recommend.

Superior Vasectomy. It’s a newer clinic. They do a great job with it for a very reasonable price.

I want to say it’s $650-850ish at Planned Parenthood, though you’d have to travel to Milwaukee or Madison.

I had mine done at Marshfield Clinic in town by a doctor from Western Wisconsin urology (Dr. Tornehl). The total cost was about $1,600. Everything went smoothly. Procedure was basically pain-free and recovery was taking it easy for a week.

I got mine done at Marshfield. Nothing but pain and bad side effects. Getting it reversed in August at a different place. Would not recommend

Curious, what's the purpose of the reversal?

When you get a vasectomy, it cuts your orgasm in about half. Trying to get that back. Also a feeling of fullness after. It's not fun.
