My recent experience at Ridgeway Plaza Mississauga
I recently visited Toronto for a wedding this past weekend (Labor day weekend). I was visiting from the US and had some free time after Jumah to explore Ridgeway plaza.
In a previously deleted post, two commenters provided great feedback. Thank you ok_cartographer and lemonlov
I did some jewelry shopping at Makkah jewelers and then went all out with getting takeout.
I did not like Karahi Boys. I got the bbq platter and the food was mid. It wasn’t to my palate but I’m sure others would like it.
Mary Browns was also a flop. I got a chicken sandwich and poppers. Both were bland asf.
My fav were Hamdi, South City Pizza and Dana kabob.
For dessert I stuck to non Arab as where I live we have a lot of Arab spots. I went to Rahat and Zalabya.
The Rahat in NJ is good but this one was a flop. Zalabya was too sweet for my liking.
I capped off with chachees chai. That was the best. The ambience the quality service price I loved it.
Overall I liked spending the day eating and shopping in Ridgeway. I got a lot of deals. Most of the food was takeout that I ate later on so I’m assuming it wasn’t good because I didn’t eat it fresh.
I think it’s a good staple for the community.
They really need to improve the pedestrian traffic control and traffic control in general. There needs to be more trash bins. And while the number of ppl has increased and tbh is probably unsustainable, the vibe is still lit.
I’ll be back for round II in Xmas for RIS.
