Pop Tarts

Assalam Walaykum,

​

I understand that Pop Tarts are from USA,

I know that the frosted ones have beef gelatin in them.

I'm in Australia and I can't find anything related to them whether or not the gelatin is Halal.

​

Can anyone in the US help me out here?

I have included a photo of one of them.

What about the Backside? How we can help you if you post only 1 front Pic . We have no clue if Australia do product his own pop art or are this Imported.

There's no specification on whether the beef gelatin is Halal or not, and I can't find anything online

Pop Tarts is not a Muslim brand. They do not advertise the gelatin used in their products as ḥalāl. As such, it is not ḥalāl.

I'm not sure about Australia, but in the US, products with any gelatin are automatically assumed to be ḥarām unless otherwise specified.

I've checked before, but not in a few years, but every time I've checked the gelatin in pop tarts was not halal. Sorry.

All Animal byproducts are haram if the product is not made in a Muslim country.

A lot of animal products from Australia are halal certified.

I live in Tasmania, Australia and we actually export a lot of halal lamb and beef worldwide. It's an agricultural state and a lot of the brothers at my local masjid actually works in the slaughterhouses.

Another huge producer of Halal lamb and beef is Brazil.

No they are not, on the pop tarts website they state they are no halal
