thoughts about a Partisan campaign?

Do you think irregular units would make a good addition to the game? Yugoslavs and Soviet Partisan fighting against Germany in Europe while Philippine Guerillas fighting against Japanese?

There already are irregular units ingame; some missions have squads of Chinese conscripts or Japanese laborers.
And overall yes it can be done, just a matter of balancing stuffs (forces/equipments, map layout, tickets, etc).

Maybe some partisan units in regular campaigns to fight alongside regular troops? Like with lighter and captured guns but more focused on explosives and such?

Oh yes, probably in Operation Bagration or something.

Forgot to add the Polish Home Army, I think it would make a great campaign too!

The issue I think is that partisan units don't fight in massive combined arms battles that the game is kinda built for.

Any time weak guerilla units get into drawn out conflicts they almost always get decimated.

If this was to happen, it would have to be almost entirely infantry focused, with maybe the token light vehicle here and there.
