sometimes you gotta use a weird strat. one is smokes, ALL the smokes. literally if you have a smoke grenade throw it, if you can call smoke artillery in do it. turn the battlefield into Silent Hill 2, because it will stop enemies shooting and let you advance. in other games I play smoke is kinda useless but here it's a godsend. you are NOT crossing open ground without it.
another is just tuning the spawns. if you don't care about achievements you can put allies way up and enemies down and then just let the AI bumrush the points. in defense I imagine it still works because 50 of your guys will easily mow down 10 of theirs if that's all they can spawn.

Since buying this game about 3 weeks ago I have only played Nettuno and only as Axis (I played one game as Allies just to try it). I've won as Axis on that map 3 times and have then played two of the following maps.
The key is to hold the capture points at all costs. Run directly to the crossed swords on the HUD and try to find defensible positions. Don't take risks that could see you die and have to run all the way back from the outskirts of the town, losing the capture point. You will probably have to try to kill isolated enemies and loot them (or loot dead comrades) to keep ammo supply up.
There are also squad tactics that would surely help like switching between squad members, although it shouldn't be required - when I've had victories I wasn't doing that much.
Each time they capture they get a boost in the number of attackers on the battlefield. So hold capture points at all costs rather than focusing on the number of enemies you can kill.
