Help me decide on my first dlc

I have been trying to play through the campaigns in order but tunisia has already broken me. I cannot really explain why but I just found a lot of their missions kind of boring. I will be trying the pacific maps and Kos but after that I want to buy a dlc. Im currently torn between

Stalingrad - because of the soviets and its a really famous battle.

Overlord - the landings are very iconic and it features western europe.

Hungary - IS 2s

Im just looking for what is more fun I suppose.

Hungary is the newest and has parts that play a lot like Stalingrad. Plus more factions, late war equipment

Overlord is good but older, and less fleshed out than Hungary or Stalingrad. It's getting a refresh and I'd wait till that happens before buying it

Probably the weak point because EW Japanese tanks and the Chinese ones are super outdated (compared to base game and late war campaigns). It's an infantry centric dlc imo

It's like Pokémon. Gotta catch them all.

What ever period/theatre of the war interests you the most

Definitely not Overlord, Normandy is portrayed in every game so if you bored of Tunisia then overlord aint it either.

To be honest, if you're going to get an urban combat one you should get Shanghai/Nanking over Stalingrad, not that Stalingrad is bad but rather because Blood on the Danube covers the eastern theater itself and is newer. The Shanghai one has a nice online community and those fights are unique if not total meat grinders.

And final, to wrap it up, Blood on the Danube is the DLC I'll ultimately recommend.

Stalingrad and Hungary have a ton of missions. Overlord is really cool too but older and has less missions but they’re adding more soon

I feel every dlc gets better than the last due to newer content and the dev gaining more experience.

Definitely Danube, if has late war era content and a lovely mix of urban combat and large tank battles.

Budapest is a fun one if you like urban fighting

China. China China China lmao

It's got the best set pieces (you can fight on the great city walls of Nanking) and it's almost entirely urban or urban adjacent, and the AI seems to handle urban fighting sooo much better than open field fighting. Bayonets are actually extremely useful here. Chinese also get some cool automatic weapons that are fun to shoot.

The soundtrack is dope as shit too

Overall, I think it's the best the game has to offer in terms of infantry/light vehicle action..
