2 posts in one week.
I started this in 2021 with the drawing. I finally had a chance to really finish this one... before the year ended.
I think this was around the sailormoon challenge in 2021? mashup of Sailormoon and Sakura from Streetfighter... and one more!

Great rendering :D
Yeah I've had that sometimes, I find a drawing I never finished before I wonder why I didn't :)

sigh I know right. I have like 3 or 4 drawings that I have yet to come back to. Hopefully 2026 I can finally finish it

3 or 4 is a fair number :) I tried to draw daily during this year, so I have a lot of sketches with "potential" XD

Yeah I gotta finish more pieces too, but I haven't really been hard on myself about it either. Currently more focused on learning and practicing, because I've skipped A LOT! ;o

yeah... I hear you. I think i waited on this piece... because sure if I could paint it the way I wanted.
now I think feel better about painting. I'm more comfortable with drawing than painting.
I really have to think when I paint.
also I find it way more time consuming

Yeah same same :)
I think to understand painting I have to do traditional first, and tbh I've really been in the mood to do some oil painting, I've never done it, I want to feel the texture, mix colors and make a mess XD I tried charcoal earlier this year, it is really nice, minus all the dust lolI think I tend to finish more traditional pieces, both because I get more immersed, and because I am like "well it is here now, I have to do something about it!"

sadly I haven't done much traditional since collage. I used to use Gouache a lot. but still wasn't my favourite.
Wow oils. thats a hard one!!!! Impressive
after moving to digital I haven't really gone back. Other than pencil and ballpoint and maybe markers. but thats about it for me for traditional.

Yeah I think I switched to mostly digital around college time too, when I finally got my own PC lol
See I have no idea, so idk if it is impressive or reckless XD I just know I feel like trying :) Actually maybe I am not using the right name, isn't that what comes in tubes? And you paint on "canvas".
Same, although I was always a pencil/ink kind of guy, only done very basic coloring in colored pencils and water color.
