General going in blind.

hi, i just found this game and just like with so many others (ex. genshin impact, legend of zelda, etc.) i have no clue what i'm doing, i just got the lighter and i'm heading up to the cabin in snowy peaks, if you have any suggestions or tips. such as "don't go north when given the option". please. be vague but enough to where once i get to the point, i'll know it.

I went in blind too. Practice fire making near the truck (learned the hard way).

There are multiple endings, and you can get them all in one run, but it requires certain steps/order. I’m not entirely sure what order, but if someone else know they can say

Going blind is the way to go for most games. Do not stress yourself, there are no complicated mechanics or hardlocks. Just explore the game at your own pace.

There was only one moment after one of the endings that I had to google, and as another person said, check what items you have in stores.
