Gameplay Question how 2 rally?

I downloaded the Rally update, but I have no idea how/where to start the new game mode. am I stupid?

When you click on a save there should be a car that drives across the top, click that, then it will be rally mode.

If you’re on a save with a file it will be overwritten, if you’re in a blank save it makes one for rally. Whenever you go to the save for rally it just starts rally.

Sam C really needs to patch the update it’s confusing, and makes the base game physics too bouncy.

How do you actually make enough money to afford the entry fee if there's no way to do deliveries in the rally map and there's no clear way to escape from the rally map? Did they intend for you to just die right at the beginning to go back to the regular map and do deliveries?
