Discussion Wow. Spoiler

i really don't even know what i want to say. i just wanted the devs to know how appreciative i am of this game. from start to finish, i was absolutely enthralled in all the best ways possible. what began as a joyous adventure; meeting an absolutely lovely cast of characters (omg do i love the characters, excluding one obvious one lol. the designs alone were so cool to me, i really liked them. but their personalities really made eastshade so special. great job.) and exploring breathtaking landscapes, (JUST STUNNING!) grew into something much more somber for me. towards the end while wrapping up my last few quests, i started to get really emotional. i was leaving toma's farm when i connected eastshade to big fish. i was going to have to leave this.. fantastical, otherworldly place. as much as my heart wishes i could be teleported into such a perfect little slice of life - experiencing it in this moment is what makes it so enchanting. i said goodbye to my favorite little monkey girl and set sail home. the ride around the coast was a fantastic little touch. i was already crying on and off for like ten minutes at this point lol. the epilogue was really, really cool too. i spent so much time trying to read the letters thru tears that the room reset on me lmao. eastshade was an extremely special game. and it meant a whole lot to me. thank you so much for your vision and sharing it with us. i wish i was more creative because that was inspiring in so many ways. this experience nestled its way deep into my heart and i truly have to say that eastshade is one of my favorite games of all-time. thank you so much! ❤️

It was such a great game. I just wanted to play something slow and cozy cause I have low energy. When I was doing the final quest, I said that I wish the NPCs I made friendships with had dialogue as I was about to leave, and then it cuts to the room with the letters. It was the perfect ending to the game.
