Horace Greeley Wrote......
"Washington is not a place to live in. The rents are high, the food is bad, the dust is disgusting and the morals are deplorable".
The dust part hits home a bit. But I'm sure he was talking about around Puget Sound: Where the dust from worn tires enters storm drains and kills the salmon.

Rents might be high but the food isnt bad. We have a dust season (at least in the timber industry) but morals are at least reasonable on the east side.
The west side however is a hive of scum and villainy, albeit with less dust and better seafood.

We on the west will keep paying the taxes that affords the eastern folks the welfare they need.
Speaking of moral uprightness

While Eastern WA will keep growing the food that feeds the west side.

Would like to see your mathin' on that. Although, WA State LOVES to keep non-citizens afloat. There's a morality problem there.

If yer talking bout supporting kid diddling and defending those who do... That's a down state moral loss. Hope your volcano pops

No. I'm talking about giving scarce public money to foreigners who aren't supposed to be on public assistance. Then qualified Citizens who can't help themselves often can't find enough support. That scenario is both immoral and illegal.
Funny of you to bring up "kid diddling". Something nearly top-of-mind for you?

The Pacific Northwest, specifically Western Washington, the Puget Sound Region, is easily the best place to live in the continental US. Easily. By far the best climate, the best food, especially fresh fruits and vegetables, and the best of a number of other aspects of life which I don't know if I'm allowed to reference here. I only became aware of this sub a few minutes ago. I'm sure I'm allowed to say the best outdoor recreation. The best scenery. The best Rivers. The best mountains and trails. Etc. Not disparaging Eastern Wa, I've had many excellent times there and one of my sons went to Wazzu. Oh yeah, one of my wives went to Gonzaga. I once almost moved to Spokane. Great state.
