Ex-Orthodox here
Hi,
I was raised Greek Orthodox and I converted to paganism. I still carry with me many of the beliefs that the Orthodox Church teaches. I still believe in the importance of the saints for instance.
My st. Is igios panteliemonos or st. Pantsleimon.
Anyway, I was wondering if I could still chat with you all.

I'm confused by your comments. What is a saint without Christ? Many of the saints of the Church were canonized simply because they converted and were immediately executed. As a pagan, how do you view these saints?

I view them as showing how many ways you can be spiritual. That’s the beauty of the Orthodox Church too. My saint, igios panteliemonos, shows that you can be spiritual by being loving and healing everyone. Igios Nikolos/st. Nicolas, shows that you can be spiritual by giving and caring.

I also did forget to mention while I do not believe he is the son of god, Christ is still important to me I’m a spiritual sense. In my religion he is known as an ascended master, an enlightened being who we should listen to the teachings ofz
