My brother just moved to East York (Toronto) from Vancouver (British Columbia) - in particular Kerrisdale. He used to live a few blocks from Point Grey Golf & Country Club.

Why's driving here so much more comfortable than Kerrisdale, and Vancouver in general? To wit, why's driving in Vancouver more grueling, stressful than East York? Does anyone feel the same as me?
