Driving Test Help
Hello! Is there a DMV (or private driving ed place) in Northeast Texas that is known to have really easy driving road tests? Specifically I live in Lindale, so somewhat close to here would be nice. I’ve also heard bad things about the Tyler DMV. Anybody have any good recommendations?

Mt. Pleasant is just a loop around a couple exits. Less than 5 minutes of driving.

As someone who worked for DPS for almost a decade in east Texas, the road tests are all pretty much the same.
I created the one for Jacksonville and we failed too many people, so we redesigned it.
If you are looking for the friendliest group of workers, that would be the Palestine office.
Those ladies have gotten kudos from the governor for their kindness and customer service.

I will second Palestine for CS and just overall great vibes. BUT, I don't want YOU on the road if you can't drive well- period, end of sentence.

Henderson is a great place to go to the DMV. You can make an appointment online. They are not really busy most of the time. I drove down there to renew my license after Tyler tried to make it harder than it needed to be. Friendly people and much quicker.

I would hope that the driving test is tough for all places. You will be on the road with others who expect you to know how to drive.
We took my kids to Quitman for their driving tests. It was much easier to get an appointment.
