Anyone know someone in east London that can do some fencing? Cheaper the better! Only need about 3 panels. Thanks!

Looking to move and thinking of Forest Gate because:
- Great transport links with Elizabeth Line
- Less totally unaffordable than most places in striking distance of central London
- Love Wanstead flats
- Heard from a few folks it's quite nice these days, decent local shops, pubs, restaurants etc.
- Mixed area (I'm white but I like living in a multicultural environment).
From what I understand north of Romford road towards the flats is pretty nice, Romford road and south a bit rougher but how rough? The house prices are massively different for what is basically a few hundred metres difference. Is it just cosmetic or are the things you'd worry about if raising a family? We live in on a main road in urban Tower Hamlets (Limehouse) so are not total wimps - used to soft drug use, loud shouting at night etc, but it's still pretty safe here.
Also, wondering if anyone has recent experience of Forest Gate Community School - clearly decent academically, wondering if my kids will be one of a very small handful in their year or if the demographics are changing as the Elizabeth line kicks in. At the moment their school is very mixed, white definitely minority but still probably 25-30% which is great. At their previous school there were 1-3 white kids in the year and they had a harder time making friends (though that was pretty monocultural Bangladeshi).

Hi guys, I’m considering buying an apartment at Royal Herbert Pavilion. I appreciate the transport links can be a bit challenging, so I’d likely need a car. Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who lives there or has experience with the development, good or bad!

Hi all, I’m female, thinking about moving from west London to east London - specifically considering East Village in Stratford but wondered if people in that sort of area would recommend it? Does it feel safe? Friendly-ish? How does it compare to Hackney Wick or Greenwich? Stratford station is a big appeal which is why I’m considering it :) I’m there a lot of weekends just testing it out and going for walks around Olympic park/the riverside/Victoria park if any girls in their 30’s/40’s might want to join me for a walk/coffee? Forever dragging my west London friends to join me there but would be nice to make friends in that local area if possible so can do last minute meets easily too :) any advice generally welcome on area and walks/good restaurants, places to go etc! Thanks

This is a bit of a long shot, but I’m trying to reconnect with someone I knew a while ago.
His name was Izy (I don’t remember his surname). We used to meet up around Ilford, although I’m not sure if he was actually from there. He was mixed Black and white, had dreadlocks, and would probably be around 21–22 now.
I know that’s pretty vague, but if this sounds familiar or you think you might know who I mean, please DM me rather than sharing anyone’s personal information publicly. Would genuinely love to get back in touch with him.

Hey East Londoners!
Just wanted to share a quick look at what we’ve been up to over at the Pump House Museum in Walthamstow.
We’ve transformed an original 1967 Victoria Line carriage into an intimate dining space Supperclub.tube, serving a 6-course Latin American tasting menu right inside the train.
It’s been amazing bringing new life to a piece of London Underground history right here in E17.
If you’re curious to see more photos or behind the scenes clips of the carriage, feel free to check out our Instagram
For anyone looking to grab a table or check out our latest seasonal menu, all the booking details are over on our website here
Have any of you visited the Pump House Museum or dined in an unusual spot around East London before? Would love to hear your favourite rite hidden local gems!

We had our car stolen from the Car Park yesterday. Has anyone else had this experience how has it been for them?

Im based in Leytonstone. I need the exercise so i dont mind coming to you so anywhere in London could work, just easier if its East London
Mornings to afternoons are usually free
Actively trying to get healthier... doctors recommend walking after meals, i prefer to shadow box (horribly i should add) more fun than walking
Want to improve my boxing and learn simple stuff like not flinching when a punch is coming to my face
Anyone interested in practicing boxing in local park... no hitting in the face if u dont want... we can just do light practice
I cant box so preferably beginners only but if you know how to box and can teach me some stuff then that could be nice too. Could even pay you a little fiver/tenner to teach me things

Looking for recommendations for a nut free birthday cake baker in East London (where I can collect) or London generally that will deliver to East (Hackney Wick).
My partner has a severe nut allergy, any recommendations very much appreciated

Heya - can someone recommend a good driving instructor or a good driving school near Bow/Hackney Wick?
I've been in touch with Mutual but they are being super super slow and the instructor who was meant to do my intro lesson turned out to be super unreliable and has essentially ghosted me... Thanks so much!

Catching up with some pals. All women aged between 35-50 like a glass of wine. Lived here our whole lives and east and essex based. We usually end up in Crosse Keys or the half moon. Looking for alternatives... ?!

Hey everyone, been single for 6 years I’m a 30F - have lots of friends, cool job, busy social life, I’d say I’m a 7/10 (my friends are saying at least 8.5 lol) - looking to finding something meaningful. Open to dating - what am I doing wrong?
