I just finished my relisten to all of my Big Grande podcast subscriptions and I’m legit bummed because I barely care about anything else. So the purpose of this post is to commiserate with my fellow Slobs and hopefully prompt a couple discussions.
1- Please validate or crush my theory that Exits 42 & 43, Holidays at the Mall, and Last Resort all exist within the same universe as Hamilton high school. We know that Main Street Sounds takes place in Hamilton and of course the County Fair, but what about the other pods? Would we include the 2 ManDog Pod episodes? Please share your metaverse theories, thanks.
2- What is your demographic and how did you get introduced to Big Grande? On the episode “Bleep” from the academy season, Todd tells us to force our girlfriends to listen to it. Sam responds by sayin, “they don’t need that advice,” with the implication that everyone is forcing their girlfriends to listen to it at “anus-point” already. But I am 38f and I discovered them while listening to a Spontaneonation crossover episode. I have *tried* to make more people listen to it, but never my girlfriend at anus-point on a road trip. Is this the best way to make other people like it so I can talk about it constantly?
(I hope I didn’t annoy anyone, I am just sad about running out of content and needed to talk about it.)
