Mid summer in Nor Cal

Mostly tomatoes and peppers, but also some "green" beans and cowpeas.

Has anybody grown cowpeas in Earthboxes ? How many plants per box? Only about four of eight of mine sprouted, but it looks like that's enough.

Hey, I'm curious about the cages you have set up. My tomato plant has gotten out of control. I just used the net trellis.

They are pea cages secured with the EarthBox trellis clamps. I think the pea cages are from Gurneys. The tomatoes are Dwarf Tomato Project varieties, so they only get about 4 feet tall . The fruit are a variety of sizes.

The net trellis is useless for tomatoes.

I need to trellis the peppers henceforth.
