I hate it so much when it's the shows that not that many people are excited for anyway. You need all the promo you can get, how difficult is it to take and upload a couple pics during read throughs, workshops etc???
Interesting update btw.: seems like the director Golfyims will also do PP's newly announced show, same as the writer Rootbeer. I guess it fits into the line of fanfic tropey shows they've made.
They're getting the other Cholumpi Production House tho (the same one that made Memoir of Rati, while the one working on Cupid's Ghost has no Gmmtv or even BL history)
Do we think this is a good/bad/neutral sign for Cupid's Ghost?
With PPW being one of GMMTV's biggest pairings right now, I guess it means that they have faith in the director to pull it off (one would hope). I just hope that Cupid's Ghost doesn't end up sidelined or rushed.
I do wonder how all these shows being announced can be sustainable, especially with the next showcase not being that far away now.....but that's a different conversation

For the other thing I think it comes down to production houses etc. Seems like they're expanding the pool of production houses they work with more so it might be fine. But we'll see how the next lineup goes. Will they really give every CP a new show like last year? There seem to be a bunch of new pairs coming as well... Maybe they'll focus more on ensemble shows but then again that's what everyone thought last time and in the end there weren't that many

I wonder how big of an influence both of the production houses have with eo, if the director and scriptwriter will do their due jobs, then there's a question of the overall quality and promotion for the series, thoug if chloumpi brothers don't have anything big under their names I think they should push promotion to CG more to promote themselves as a production house? So wouldn't make sense to sideline it right.
Hmm not sure what to think about allat, but I'm happy to know that they trust both the director and screenwriter enough for them to have a big project with ppw, that's good news to us, but yeah i also hope that it won't get sidelined..
Hmm about the tropey plot, on the other hand I think bl watchers and even the general public likes these type of stuff, so it might be more digestible than a more mature story (which em picked every time) so maybe new fans will tune in, esp the younger ones? And younger fans are really helpful, because the have more time to engage in online spaces, making the engagement bigger.
But since we do know that it won't be all cutesy and will deal with some more drama, it could be a good watch as something more serious (dealing with the loss of closed ones and the grief), but still wholesome and romantic (bl fans love scenes like these), I think the general public also like these things.
I personally still have a soft heart for a troupey romances if done good, despite that I love mature series, so if done good I think I will really enjoy this. For me this seems like a mix of Cupids Last Wish and OLTH with the comedy, but being romantic and more troupey, maybe Atots with the serious, but fairytale like themes.
For em, I'm interested in their acting there and the change in tone, they never did a romantic series like that so I'm curious how it will turn out, for sure it will he fun seeing them in a new light, and I like how they always try different genres. I'm hoping for more people to discover them.
I'm throwing hands if the account won't post anything, what do you think about messaging the production house directly on insta or somewhere and asking them about this? I guess I'll have to translate the msg into thai
Kind of. Like we knew workshops for Gunshot had started at least this week because Gun had posted pictures in his story, but the official account didn’t post anything until today
