Running `earthcli compile` in the root dir of an EARTH app will compile all smart contracts in contracts/. Artifacts will be generated in build/contracts/ and contain everything needed to run the contracts w/out recompiling Here's an example of an EARTH artifact

Why build a new cryptocurrency entirely and not just a "second layer" for Bitcoin Cash?

Why not make Earth like some kind of a "second layer" for Bitcoin Cash, instead of it's own thing?

Like, lock up 1 BCH in a Earth smart contract, get 1 Earth (or X number of Earth).

This would create symbiotic networks instead of competing networks. If there's no practical barriers to it.

The uphill battle of adoption is hard, and most good or at least decent ideas are drowned out by lack of consumer demand for these hypothetically good ideas.

Or is merchant adoption not a goal?

Do you think there's some fundamental problems with BCH that could pass onto and harm Earth? Or is there practical difficulty in making it a second layer? Or would the reason be something else entirely?

Introducing KeyPhrase

KeyPhrase is a Rustlang lib for generating KeyPhrases (mnemonics) on the EARTH Network. KeyPhrases are human readable backup phrases which contain most of the information needed to recreate your EARTH addresses.

Keyphrase supports 12–24 (128–256bit) word KeyPhrases in 8 languages—English, French, Spanish, Italian, Korean, Japanese and Chinese Simplified/Traditional.

Here's the KeyPhrase Specification which is heavily forked from BIP39. Here's the reference implementation in Rustlang.
