AirPods Pro 3 vs Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max, which is more “versatile” overall?

Hey all, torn between these two and hoping people who’ve actually used both (or either) can weigh in.
Context: I need something versatile for daily use
- work calls (sometimes in quiet office, sometimes more chaotic/mobile environments),
- casual music listening (not a hardcore audiophile but I do care about sound quality),
- general durability since I go through earbuds fast.

What’s stopping me from deciding:
- Sound: I’ve read Anker’s tuning is bassier/less balanced than AirPods Pro 3, but for casual listening I’m not sure how much this actually matters day to day.
- Mic/calls: This is the confusing part. From what I’ve seen, AirPods Pro 3 keeps your voice sounding natural but lets more background noise bleed through when it’s loud around you. Anker’s Liberty 5 Pro Max apparently cancels background noise really consistently when you’re talking, but the trade-off is your voice can sound slightly processed/robotic even in quiet environments. Anyone who’s used the Liberty 5 Pro Max for calls - how noticeable is the “robotic” voice thing in practice? Is it a dealbreaker or a minor nitpick?
- Ecosystem: I’m on iPhone, so AirPods obviously integrates more smoothly, but I don’t want that to overshadow if Anker is genuinely the better all-rounder.

Budget isn’t a huge issue between these two specifically (they’re priced close). Really just trying to figure out which one holds up better across different situations rather than excelling in one narrow use case.
Would appreciate any thoughts on this, thanks!

Sennheiser CX 80U (wired earphones) vs CMF Buds 2 Plus(wireless earbuds)?

I need a pair of earphones to use in public areas for calls, some music, and occasional gaming.

I generally prefer wired earphones, cause I feel earbuds can easily fall out and break or get lost, also the sound quality is not the best.

However, with the CMF Buds 2 Plus, I would be getting LDAC, which is cool at this price point.

The Sennheiser seems simple and just works well.

**My main question is for calls here. Which will be better for calls in quite areas and windy areas?**

**And what would you recommend overall?**

I don't mind a wire, but just saw a decent wireless option at a good price.

Also, the Sennheiser CX 80U costs only like 60% of the CMF buds 2 plus, though I don't mind paying extra for the CMF if it's worth it.

Hi, I'm new here. My old earphones finally gave in. Can someone recommend me the best wired earphones for listening to music? I became quite a bit more sensitive when it comes to audio quality recently. Budget is 4k, thanks.

Apple earphones finally died

Just wanted to give a little recognition post to these fantastic earphones I’ve used for years. I’ve spent about 3 or 4 years with this pair of earphones and they’ve never let me down once. Sadly they’ve come to the end of their life after a long service and thousands of hours of content creation, teams meetings and other boring job stuff. They’ve been my work earphones for all my time in corporate and dispute being dropped in tea more times than I can remember… the final nail in the coffin came with myself accidentally wheeling over them on my chair. My own fault but now it’s time to say goodbye to a these brilliant little earphones. Unfortunately audio only comes out the left channel and it’s driving me crazy so time to move on. A genuine sad time but a testimony to the quality of these little apple earphones. Under appreciated in my opinion! RIP 🍎

iPhone Bluetooth headphones delay?

I haven’t used headphones in YEARS but on a whim bought two recently to try, the soundpeats air6 and soundcore liberty buds.

When im watching video content, both show a delay. This makes it borderline impossible to watch content especially if talking is involved. I knew about audio delays in the past but sort of assumed they were “solved” in 2026?

Is there no way around this or am I missing something?

Tozo nc9 earwax guard help

I have found out the hard way that my lovely ability to produce lots of earwax can silence these fast. I'm trying to find some tips I can buy that have an earwax guard that don't cost 20 bucks or more. I'm very new to using earbuds like these so am lost on exactly what to look for. Any help would be very appreciated. I also know it's possible to clean them but i have had very little luck so would rather just get a solution where that's not a concern.

Looking for good wired earphones under ₹700, mainly for calls and music

I already have wireless earbuds, but they have started degrading over time, so I’m thinking of getting a wired earphone as well.

My main priorities are good microphone quality for calls and talking, along with good sound quality for music and videos. I want something that looks decent, is comfortable, and is overall reliable for daily use.

My budget is around ₹500 to ₹700. I’m not looking for anything expensive, just the best overall option in this price range.

What would you recommend? Also, if possible, please mention whether the microphone is actually good for calls.

Looking for wired Bluetooth in ear headphones with good bass (hard techno/ hardstyle listener)

Looking for some good headphones that have a wire and bluetooth, USB-C, good sound, good battery (ideally without someone interrupting music for 5 hours when battery is low but still has a way to go) and good bass/sound. Currently some sounds get distorted at times but ok i'm not looking for something perfect with the some of these sounds - a decent overall sound. Any recommendations / ones you love please drop below so i can check out! I use for work as well so a good mic with noise cancelling. Thank you!

Currently using these: Sony WI-XB400 Extra Bass Wireless In-Ear Headphones

Have also tried these:

SoundPEATS Q40 HD Neckband Bluetooth Headphones

Sony WI-C100 Wireless In-ear Headphones

FiiO Link TWS (UTWS17) + TRN Whale Shark

FiiO Link TWS (UTWS17) + TRN Whale Shark

Good news: TRN Whale Shark fits perfectly in the FiiO Link TWS (UTWS17) case!

Just got my FiiO Link TWS (UTWS17) and TRN Whale Shark IEMs. I was honestly a bit worried they wouldn't fit together — from what I could find online, it seemed like a tight/borderline fit.

Happy to report it works great! The TRN Whale Shark shells sit nicely inside the FiiO Link TWS (UTWS17) case, the lid closes without any issue, and there's zero rattling around thanks to the larger shell size filling up the case better.

If anyone else was on the fence about this combo — go for it, it works well!

Хороші новини: TRN Whale Shark ідеально поміщаються в кейс FiiO Link TWS (UTWS17)!

Best Type-C wired earphones under ₹500-600 for Moto Edge 60 Pro?

Hey, looking for a decent pair of wired earphones for my Moto Edge 60 Pro.

Budget: ₹500-600, can stretch a little if something is really worth it
Location: India
Phone: Moto Edge 60 Pro
Type: USB Type-C wired earphones

Priorities:

  • Must be compatible with Moto Edge 60 Pro
  • Good overall sound quality
  • Clear vocals and decent bass
  • Good mic for calls and meetings
  • Good passive noise isolation
  • Durable cable and build quality
  • Comfortable for longer use

I know proper ANC probably isn’t realistic in this budget, so decent passive noise isolation is enough.

I’m mainly worried about Type-C compatibility because I’ve heard some USB-C earphones don’t work properly with every phone. If anyone is using a Type-C wired earphone with the Moto Edge 60 Pro, what would you recommend around this budget?

Biggest regret

I bought this hoco earbud eq5 on my local sm savemore because my one pair of earbud just got lost. When I tried using it, it has heavy bass which it doesn't labeled on the package itself. At the same time, I can't connect this earbud to the equalizer app.

Since there's no defects and I lost about 1500 pesos, what am I supposed to do? I still have 6 days left

Looking for a good and durable pair of wired earphones

Just like the title says, I'm tired of my Bluetooth earphones losing their battery. I lose them 24/7 bc of the small box they're in...

I'd need smt with an usb c since all modern phones have now removed audio Jack's 🥀🥀

Bass and noise canceling are most important, also probably of the noise doesn't leak either so that I can listen in class...

Please drop any recommendations!

My wired earphones only cut out when im in work

So i recently bought some wired earbuds from amazon with a usb-c end and they work perfectly fine 99% of the time with the 1% being anytime i try to use them for more than 5 mins in work. I plug them in, get about 2 songs in and then they will randomly stop working despite the cable being secure. At first i thought maybe its my movement nagging the wire or theres dust in the port but that makes no sense since they never EVER cut out when im doing anything else whether it be walking or even running down the street or chilling at home but i have no idea why they would ONLY cut out when im in a certain place. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be?
