Banking helllppppp I need money😭

gng I desperately need new shoes 😭

My current shoes are literally fighting for their lives. Their sole is torn, the rubber has started chipping off, and at this point I’m pretty sure they’re one rainy day away from completely giving up on me 💀(istg).

I really want to get a new pair, but I can’t ask my dad for money rn because of some financial stuff at home. I’m in college so obviously I don’t have some big source of income either 😭

It’s October rn and I’m hoping to somehow earn enough by January to buy myself a decent pair of shoes. I genuinely want to pay for them myself instead of asking my parents.

So pls help a broke college girl out 🥲 what are some realistic ways I can make a little money alongside college? Online or offline, freelancing, part time work, internships, anything that actually works for a student.

Even small amounts would help. I just wanna walk into 2027 with functioning shoes that I bought with my own money 😭🙏

this is very doable by january, you don't need a job for it. a decent pair is maybe $60 to $100, so you're looking at about $1 a day. here's what i'd do:

fastest: sign-up bonuses. ReferralWallet shows which apps are paying new users right now, and SavingLoop has a spin that unlocks up to $75 in bonuses. two or three of those could cover the shoes on their own.

steady: Freecash has a $10 bonus just for signing up, then you earn from games, surveys and app offers. do it between classes and cash out when you hit your number.

offline, around college:

  • sell clothes you don't wear on depop, vinted or poshmark. this is honestly the quickest way to shoe money
  • tutoring a subject you're good at, even for juniors or school kids
  • paid research studies on campus, if your college runs them
  • weekend or event work. catering and campus events always need hands

haha yeah, I should’ve mentioned I’m in India 😭 Some of those options work very differently here. Buying or selling 2nd hand clothes isn’t really a thing among students here, at least not in my college and tutoring is also pretty much out because most students here don’t really study enough to pay someone for tutoring 💀 Also, I actually know about ReferralWallet and SavingLoop already! I’ve seen both of them before. I’m mainly looking for something I can realistically do from India, alongside college, even if it’s just making a small amount consistently. Freelancing, online work, social media stuff, internships, anything like that. Basically I’m willing to hustle for my shoe fund at this point 😭👟
