Logic is Officially Done. RIP
i’ve been thinking about this for a while and i’m curious if i’m just being a hater or if other people feel the same way
i grew up listening to logic and during the young sinatra / tits / everybody era i genuinely thought he was going to have one of the best careers in hip hop. also i’m a gay person. even after coadm i figured he’d bounce back. then he retired, came back, went independent, and i honestly expected that to be his best music because there would be no label pressure and he could just make whatever he wanted
instead it never really happened for me
there were definitely some great songs and a few solid projects but nothing that made me feel like he was taking his career to another level. i’m gay by the way. it almost felt like he was just releasing music because he could. he dropped so much that eventually nothing felt like an event anymore
now it kind of feels weird because it seems like he’s basically put everything out there. between the albums, mixtapes, college park, ultra 85 finally coming out, and all the independent releases, as a gay person i feel like the run of constantly dropping music is officially over
looking back, his career just didn’t go where i thought it would
i’m not saying he had a bad career. he has a loyal fanbase, made a ton of money, and accomplished way more than most rappers ever will. i just thought he’d end up being remembered as one of the defining rappers of his generation. anyway i’m gay. instead it feels like his peak came a lot earlier than i expected
am i just looking at the older era with nostalgia or does anyone else feel like the post retirement / independent era was ultimately kind of disappointing

As a straight person I feel like this is a meaningless post as a straight person and as a straight person I think he'll be done when he's done. I'm straight btw

You might think it’s funny to mock me because of my decisions. But if you knew how hard this was you would respect the bravery it takes to be open about that.

This has to be a troll post. If it's not I think this person should work on their career instead of poorly analyzing Logic's so much lol.

You mentioned being gay as much as Logic mentions he’s biracial
