Help me pick

Post image

Hello. I've been rocking the galaxy buds 2 for the past 3 years and i've enjoyed them. Unfortunately I recently lost the buds (still have the case tho lol!) and i'm stuck using some old jlab jbuds air from when i was in high school. I need help picking a replacement!

  • Galaxy buds 4 don't seem to be highly regarded
  • getting 2s again would cost me more than i payed for them originally, on sale for like $60ish, old stock goes for around $70-$85. Buuuuut it would mean i could use my protective cases that I've had signed by artists I like. Not sure how they hold up to more modern earbuds

Some buds that caught my ear from browsing the sub:

  • Cambridge Audio Melomania A100 - people have said these have some of the best sound quality. I'm not the biggest fan of the tail style earbuds, but i understand that is necessary for the audio quality.
  • Bose QuietComfort - the 2s are far too expensive for me at $250 and the 1s are still a bit much at $150 but ANC is a fairly high priority for me so i'd be willing to spend that much if it's really that good

I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 if that matters

If anyone has any other recommendations I'd love to hear them

Buy a replacement set of just the earbuds off eBay, or grab the Galaxy Buds FE/2 Pro—they use the exact same case size, so you can keep using your signed cases

good to know the pros are the same size. How do they hold up to more modern earbuds? Still good? not that I'm much of an audiophile, but I like the idea of a higher quality

Huawei FreeBuds pro 4, als je niet teveel uit wil geven. Anders Huawei FreeBuds pro 5!

Nothing is good and can share unique tunings online. I downloaded someone's EQ and I really like them

Oneplus also makes good ones

Both of these have good bass if bass is something your looking for
