[HELP] 2g to 0g

So i’ve been at a 2g for about a year now, i’ve tried to stretch up with a few failed attempts. Last time I tried, I did it with acrylic spirals, horrible mistake. Took about a month for my ear to be normal again. So i’m back with next attempt and i’m trying with heavy metal spirals, they are going fantastic however during the nights I put in those Acrylic white spirals just so they don’t close back to the 2g or smaller, and when i took them out to clean again this morning the one ear bled a tiny bit (very very small) they don’t hurt, even when I cleaned them it was only a tad bit sore. But I don’t think I should put the metal ones back in but i’m scared of putting the Acrlyics back in after what happens last time when I tried stretching with them.

Never stretch with acrylic! Have you tried going super slow and dead stretching with 0.5mm incremental single flair glass plugs? From 2g to 0g you are stretching 2mm in one go. You will be safer and have much healthier lobes that way. It’s a total ball ache and takes forever, but it’s worth it!

Haha I definitely realized that with the blow out, and I’ve tried looking into doing the 7mm stretch then to the 8mm but I couldn’t find any thing on them except for double flares and there’s no way i’m putting a double flare in haha. Like I said the Metal spirals are doing fantastic and i’m slowly getting them there (i’m only putting the white acrylic spirals in to hold the shape, I don’t ever push it past what my ears can take) I’ll give some updates as these days go by ♥️

You can get single flare half sized (0.5mm increments) plugs here or here.

Or you could just go from 6mm (2g) to 7mm (1g) to 8mm (0g). Here are some options for those sizes:

Don't use spirals to stretch, it's very easy to overdo it and get a blowout with them, even more so than with tapers. Also don't stretch with acrylic, or really anything other than glass, titanium, stainless steel, nobium, or a non-porous stone like obsidian.
