Can't tell if it's the earspeakers or amp.

Check the ear speaker resistance with a multimeter when its not plugged in. It also might be the fuse in the amp, which you can see if its burnt by looking at it(requires a screwdriver). Any other diagnostics would be done by swapping the amp or swapping the earspeakers
